i Like

So, here I am going through the list of widgets / plugins to use here when I stumbled upon iLike. The app gives one the ability to list out favourite tracks and also lets users preview them.

iLike resides in the sidebar thanks to AJAX technology and streams audio from the iLike server(I think) without having to move out of the blogspace, thus keeping your visitors engaged with your blog. Something I found wierd though was that a search for "The Beatles" did not result in any matches, meaning, they didn't have songs from The Beatles. Is high copyright and royalty taxes stopping someone from sharing the music they love or is it that the band's member(s) & management decided to up the ante and say "*uck you! Buy our music if you want to share it"Well, I have absolutely no idea. Will "google" it and update this post.
